I worked in advertising for Realtors, builders and developers for 10 years.  While at the Daytona Beach News-Journal, I reconnected with a friend, Glenna Hicks, who is a commercial agent for East Coast Insurors.  Glenna suggested I talk with the agency owner about advertising.  I handled their advertising for 4 years, until the agency owner hired me to handle their marketing activities.  Two years later I became an agent.
